ADVANCED CARDIOVASCULAR LIFE SUPPORT AHA 2020 GUIDELINES

The American Heart Associated-accredited Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support course emphasizes the importance of seamless teamwork and communication in recognizing and intervening in cases of immediate post-cardiac arrest, cardiopulmonary arrest, stroke, acute dysrhythmia, and acute coronary syndromes.

This course will help healthcare providers perform better during the resuscitation of critically ill patients with severe medical problems who require cardiac monitoring, advanced airway placement, electrical therapy, and medication. The ACLS training prepares you for unexpected critical involutions of a patient’s health state, giving you the knowledge to carry out the necessary measures, either as a team member or team leader. We teach this course using classroom instructions, video tools provided by the American Heart Association, and simulated clinical thought exercises that require hands-on participation.
