BASIC LIFE SUPORT AHA 2020 GUIDELINES

The American Heart Association-accredited Basic Life Support Class emphasizes the proper training of healthcare providers focused on developing a career in healthcare. Students will learn everything about adult, infant, and child CPR, as well as the use of an AED or automated external defibrillator. The class will also contain specialized training on performing rescue breaths with a bag valve mask. Finally, students will go through ample exercises where they’ll learn how to rescue a choking infant, child, or adult. These exercises will be performed using a hands-on approach by using feedback manikin devices!
